Peer Education

Kerti Praja Foundation (KPF) involves representatives from marginalized populations as peer educators and peer support (buddies). We believe that these communities, often mistakenly deemed vectors in the epidemic, are an integral driving force in halting the spread of HIV. With the support from University of Michigan [see report], Global Fund and HIV Cooperation Program for Indonesia (HCPI), KPF trained about 400 female sex workers as peer educator.
